About this Speaker
Elissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works on the Coast of North Carolina. Elissa graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2012 and has worked in a variety of settings within the medical social work field. Elissa's current focus is within the end-of-life and palliative care field working with individuals and families. Additionally, Elissa has worked as a field supervisor for BSW and MSW students working towards their degrees with the University of North Carolina Wilmington and currently supervises students in the field of Veterinary Social Work.
